Our Story.

Gentle Heart Home Support was born from years of caring for people when they were at some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

We are a team of nurses who have spent 10-20 years working on medical floors, caring for patients through illness, recovery, and major life changes.

Over the years, we have cared for countless patients-but we also came to know the people behind every hospital admission.

We saw the worry in a daughter's eyes when she asked,

"How am I going to take care of my mom when she goes home?"

We saw spouses who wanted desperately to help their loved ones but were overwhelmed by the responsibility.

We saw families trying to balance work, children, and their own lives while caring for an aging parent.

And we saw patients who were medically ready to leave the hospital, but whose families were still wondering:

"Are we really ready for this?"

Going home is something most people look forward to. But for many families, the transition from hospital to home can be frightening and overwhelming.

A hospital has nurses, physicians, care teams, equipment, and support available around the clock.

Then suddenly, the patient goes home.

The family is left to figure out the meals, bathing, mobility, housekeeping, appointments, companionship, and everyday routines-often while they are still worried about their loved one's recovery.

More than home support.

Our nursing careers have taught us that excellent care is not only about completing a task.

At Gentle Heart Home Support, we believe that every client deserves to be treated with the same kindness and respect we would want for our own loved ones.

We want our clients to feel comfortable when our caregivers walk through their door.

We want families to feel that they have someone they can trust.

And we want our caregivers to understand that they are not simply entering a client's home-they are entering someone's life.

Gentle Heart Home Support is not here to replace nursing or medical care.

Our role is different.

We provide the compassionate, everyday support that helps people live safely and comfortably at home while allowing families to feel supported rather than overwhelmed.
